Several recordings of Andrew’s music are set to be released on Navona Records in 2022. First, Andrew’s Sonata for Horn and Piano, performed by James Wilson, horn, and Katherine Ciscon, piano, will be included on the album Brass Tacks, which will be released on in May. Then, Trio for Oboe, Horn, and Piano, performed by John Dee, oboe, Bernhard David Scully, horn, and Casey Robards, Piano, will be included on the album, Figments, Volume 3, which will also be released in May.
Andrew Lewinter’s Woodwind Quintet will be included on the New London Chamber Ensemble’s album, Windswept, Volume 2, to be released in June. In July, Mezzo-Soprano Megan Ihnen’s album, Currents in Time will be released, and will include Andrew’s Song Because I Could not Stop for Death. Finally, in November, Navona Records will release an album for Andrew’s chamber music involving oboe and horn. That album will include the Trio for Oboe, Horn, and Piano, Quintet for Oboe and Strings, and Quintet for Horn and Strings. John Dee, oboe and Bernhard David Scully, horn, are joined by the Jupiter String Quartet (on both quintets) and Casey Robards, Piano. All recording will be available on compact disc through Amazon Music, and all major streaming services, including Apple Music, Spotify, and Idagio. Andrew Lewinter’s Neo-classical Nonet for flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, violin, viola, cello and double bass was released on SINFONIA SERIES VOL. 2 on Ablaze Records. Andrew Lewinter’s Waltz for Flute and Cello was released on flutist Dieter Flury’s solo album on Navona Records, AERO. It was recorded with cellist Branimir Pusticki. On AERO, flutist Dieter Flury puts decades of study and a handmade golden flute by Yamaha to work to breathe life into works by contemporary composers and spark the imaginations of listeners.
