May 1st-3rd: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Tubist Michael Grose and Pianist Andrew Pham will perform Andrew Lewinter’s Sonata for Tuba and Piano at the Northwest Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference, which takes place at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance May 1st-3rd, 2020. Details to follow.
A recording of Andrew Lewinter’s Nonet by members of the Brno Philharmonic will be released in the summer of 2020. The Nonet is scored for flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, bassoon, violin, viola and double bass. It was premiered at the 2018 Palm Beach Chamber Music Festival by musicians Karen Fuller, flute, Erika Yamada, oboe, Michael Forte, clarinet, Eva Conti, horn, Michael Ellert, bassoon, Dina Kostic, violin, René Reder, viola, Claudio Jaffe, cello, and Janet Clippard, double bass.
